Message

Meaning

Required columns must not be deleted.

A column that was marked as a required field has been deleted from the import template. The import cannot therefore be performed.

The record has since been deleted and is ignored.

During the update, an attempt is being made to modify a row that no longer exists in the portal. This row was deleted after the template was created.

No client authorization

There is no access right for the client specified in the import template. The row will not be imported or updated.

Duplicate according to configuration

This field must be unique. The message indicates duplicate entries. This can happen, for example, if an employee ID is to be imported that already exists in the system or (during an Excel update) if an employee ID is to be overwritten by a new employee ID during the import.

Duplicate in the Excel list

This field must be unique. The message indicates duplicate entries. However, this duplicate is already in Excel and can be resolved there.

Imported

The record has been imported.

Updated

The record has been updated/overwritten.

Multiple values found with "starts with"

When importing a value into a dropdown field, there was no exact match, and when searching for the same starting value, multiple results were found; for example, when importing “Cologne,” both “Cologne-Wahn” and “Cologne-Porz” are found. Applies only if “Cologne” cannot be found.

Multiple values found with "contains"

When importing a value into a dropdown field, there was no exact match, nor was there a match for an identical starting value. When searching for the same content (at any position), multiple matching values were found. Example: Importing “Mann” for the last name finds “Schönmann,” “Dickmann,” and “Gruber-Manndarin.” Applies only if “Mann” and “Mannshausen” are not found.
