If a lease agreement does not have an expiration date, it can be marked as open-ended. This means it does not expire automatically, and the rent will continue to be charged until you specify in the lease agreement record the date on which the lease was terminated
Prerequisite
The lease agreement has already been created
Procedure in the FM Portal
Path to the starting point: Property Management - Leasing - Lease Agreements
Open the record for the lease agreement you want to mark as open-ended.
In the Dates section, delete the end date from the Contract End date field (indefinite: 01/01/2100).
The end date of the period is removed, and the value “01/01/2100” is now displayed in the “Contract until” field in the list of lease agreements.
