When you assign the object type “IT Equipment” to an object, a record is automatically created in the “IT Equipment” detail table and assigned to that object. Additional information about the IT equipment can be entered here.
Procedure in the FM Portal
Path to the starting point: Objects/Assets - Object List
Open the object with a detail record, i.e., an object of the "IT Equipment" object type.
Click on Additional Data - Details on the IT Device in the toolbar. The detail record opens.
Edit the detail record: You can enter additional details, such as the username or serial number. The following sections are available: User Information, Device Information, Order and Delivery Information, Network Connection, Lease Agreement, Details, Software Licenses, and Documents. Make your changes here as desired.
Click Save in the toolbar.
The information you entered is now assigned to the object via the detail record.
