Manage metadata in the digital archive

The documents stored in the Digital Archive can be managed and grouped using assigned metadata. This makes it easier to find them quickly in the document search using specific search terms.

Procedure in the FM Portal

Path to the starting point: Infrastructure Building Management - Digital Archive - Document Search in the Archive

  1. Click on the Results List tab to view all documents stored in the FM Portal.

  1. Click the Edit icon in the corresponding row to open the document entry.

  2. Now enter your search terms in the various sections for document management.

Example: For all documents related to the administrative building construction project, enter this term in the

Construction / Facility-Related Data.

  1. Click Save.

If you now search for these terms in the search box, only the documents containing the search term will be displayed.
