“HSE” stands for Health, Safety, and Environment. The goal is to reduce workplace risks by systematically monitoring these areas.
To this end, HSE officers are appointed and regularly trained, e.g., first aid responders.
Coordinators and officers are assigned to each HSE function. HSE coordinators are responsible for appointing HSE officers and for organizing and reviewing their training. Both HSE coordinators and HSE officers are assigned to specific buildings or parts of a building.
The HSE functions also entail specific requirements for regular training participation, which must be met by all officers in that role.
