Invoice items

The total amount of an invoice is made up of invoice line items. These invoice line items correspond to the individual items on the invoice. Invoice line items can be assigned to incoming and outgoing invoices. At the invoice line item level, you can define how invoice amounts are allocated. For example, you can specify whether an item is relevant to operating costs or assign an invoice line item to a budget item.
