Once you have downloaded the eTASK.FM Portal Setup from the Customer Center, you must configure the FM Portal.
Prerequisite
You have administrator rights on the computer where you want to install the eTASK.FM Portal
You have the right to install Windows Features on the computer where you want to install the eTASK.FM Portal
Procedure in the FM Portal
Follow the instructions in the installation wizard.
In the "Configure the eTASK.FM Portal" step, enter your portal URL, your customer ID, and your desired login credentials.
In the next step, select the option "Use existing SQL Server" and fill in the required fields.
In the next step, select the required option.
New database will be created: A new, empty eTASK database will be created using the data specified above.
Existing, populated database is used: If an eTASK database with data already exists, you can use it by selecting this option. The data specified above will be used as login credentials.
Existing, empty database is used: If an eTASK database without data already exists that you want to use, select this option. The data specified above will be used as login credentials.
Then continue with the installation.
In the FM Portal Configuration step, configure the email and security settings.
Follow the remaining instructions in the installation wizard.
eTASK.FM Portal is now installed.
Now set up the SSL certificate for your FM Portal.
Log in to your server.
Open the "IIS Manager" program.
Click on the server name. The server certificates will be displayed.
Create a certificate or open an existing one. The Certificate window will appear.

Click the Details tab. Click the Subject tab. Make sure the certificate is issued to the CN under which the FM portal is registered (URL of the FM portal). Click OK.
On the left, under Connections, click Sites and then the name of the FM portal (usually “eTASK_[customer code]”).
On the right, under Actions, click on Bindings.... The Site Bindings window appears.
Select the "https" row and click Edit.... The Edit Site Binding window appears.
In the SSL Certificate dropdown menu, select the SSL certificate to which the site should be bound.
The SSL certificate is now set up for your eTASK.FM portal.
Note: The data backup concept is to be implemented by the customer.
