The eTASK.FM portal is a web application that runs in a browser. Due to its modern interface (JavaScript framework Ext JS: http://www.sencha.com/products/js/) and the application’s high complexity (it communicates extensively with an SQL Server database in the background), it places relatively high demands on processing power and memory. In principle, eTASK products can be used on any computer that has an internet connection or an intranet environment, as well as a web browser. However, the speed of the FM portal can be optimized even if you’re working on an older computer.
If you want to speed up the FM Portal on your computer:
Browser
Update your web browser regularly and use the latest versions.
If necessary, use a different web browser.
If loading speeds become too slow, close the browser and restart it.
Note: eTASK does not support the use of Internet Explorer.
Note: As a workaround, you can use Firefox Portable (download) on computers without Firefox installed.
Computer
Use a modern computer with sufficient RAM.
Restart your computer regularly. Do not put it into sleep mode every time.
FM Portal Settings (Administrator Rights Required)
Set permissions for individual information areas to speed up the loading of individual forms (since unnecessary information areas will then not be loaded).
