You can import the IFC models of your buildings into the eTASK.FM portal and process them there.
Prerequisite
The building data model is in the "IFC 2x3 (STEP)" format
The model contains only a single building
Procedure in the FM Portal
Path to the starting point: Portfolio BIM - BIM Explorer
Click on Import New Model.
Select the IFC file.
Select the model type (e.g., "ARC|Architecture").
If you want the building data in the FM Portal to be updated based on the IFC model, disable the option "Leave building data unchanged." If this option is enabled, no changes from the model will be transferred to the FM Portal.
If you want the object data from the model to be transferred to the FM Portal, enable the "Synchronize Objects" option.
If the building is already created in the FM Portal, select the location and the building. If the building has not yet been created, enable the "New Building" option and enter the building number.
Select the Force Commit option. If this option is not selected, a model that has already been imported cannot be imported a second time without changes.
Enter a comment describing the import. The comment is a required field.
Click Import.
The building data model has been imported into your FM Portal according to your settings. You can now access it in the BIM Explorer. If this is the first time you have imported the building model and the building was not previously created in the FM Portal, new records have been created in the FM Portal (properties, buildings, floors, rooms, etc.). If you have imported the building model before, the associated data may be updated.
If the building for which you just imported the building model was already created in the FM Portal before the first import of the building model, you must perform a data synchronization to remove duplicate records.
