This data object is used to manage and assign floors within buildings in the context of Building Information Modeling (BIM). It enables the comparison between the floors defined in the BIM model and the floor data stored in the facility management system. By recording floor information such as number, name and area and linking it to buildings and BIM models, it supports building planning, administration and management processes. The integrated traffic light function provides information on the assignment status and helps to identify discrepancies between the BIM model and the actual building stock.
List
This group contains properties for listing and categorizing floors in the building. It includes features such as floor names, numbering and associated classifications.
| Property | Description |
| Traffic light | The traffic light gives a colored indication of the status of the data. A more detailed description can be found in the Traffic light
Note column. |
| Note | The note in this column gives you further information on the displayed traffic light color. Follow the instructions to be able to change red and yellow traffic lights in particular. |
| Model | This field shows the code of the building model that is used to uniquely identify and classify the building as part of Building Information Modeling (BIM). It enables quick assignment and filtering of building information in the overview. |
| Note on testing | Here you will find information on whether the floor needs to be checked on the BIM or eTASK side. If the traffic light is green, you can ignore the message. |
| Building | This field displays the unique code of the building in which the selected floor is located. The building code enables quick identification and assignment within the Building Information Modeling (BIM) system and makes it easier to navigate between different buildings and floors. |
| Floor | Displays the floor number within the building. This information is important for spatial allocation and navigation in the building model. It helps with orientation and planning work or inspections on specific floors. |
| Designation | This field contains the official designation of the floor within the building. It is used for clear identification and navigation in the context of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and is important for the precise assignment of rooms and equipment to the corresponding floors. |
| GFA area [m²] | The gross floor area (GFA) in square meters indicates the total area of all floor plan levels of a building. It comprises the areas of all storeys including construction areas and serves as an important parameter for building planning, cost calculation and space efficiency. |
| Client | The logical client is visible at this point. This is always 01 as long as the client separation has not been activated. Please refer to the help. |
Excel export
This group contains features that are relevant for exporting floor data to Excel. It includes properties that enable a structured display and analysis of floor information in tabular form.
