If the tenant has paid a security deposit, record it in the lease agreement so that it can be applied to the outstanding balance.

Prerequisite

  • The lease agreement already exists

Procedure in the FM Portal

Path to the starting point: Property Management - Leasing - Lease Agreements

  1. Open the lease agreement for which you want to enter a security deposit payment.

  2. Create a new record in the Security Deposit section.

  3. Fill in all required fields. If necessary, use the form structure (accessible via the help icon in the FM Portal) as a guide. Enter any additional information as needed.

  4. Click Save in the toolbar.

The security deposit has been recorded. If you have specified a date in the Resubmission feature, the security deposit will be displayed in the Resubmission report starting from that date.
