Edit event types

You can create events for vehicles. To categorize these events, you can select event types when creating the event. Click here to learn how to edit these event types.

Prerequisites

You have permissions for content in the Control Panel

Procedure in the FM Portal

Path to the starting point: Control Panel - Infrastructure Building Management - Fleet Management - Event Types

Click New in the toolbar.
Enter a name for the event type. This will be displayed in the Type dropdown field in the event form.
Click Save.

The event type has been created and can now be selected in the event.

Tip: You can, of course, edit all existing event types. To do so, open them and adjust the name.
