Polygons serve as containers for room information in the CAFM system. A closed polygon must be created for each room.
If there are DIN 277-relevant deduction areas within a room, separate closed polygons must be created for each deduction area within the room polygons. Deduction areas are managed in a separate layer.
Regions with integrated cutouts for determining DIN 277 room areas are permitted in place of polygons or a combination of both. The regions are stored on the same layer as the room polygons.
Furthermore, rooms can also be created as AEC objects with area stamps.
For each floor, a closed polygon sequence must be created in accordance with DIN 277 (GFA). Regions with integrated cutouts for determining the GFA are permitted.
