The logbook data object documents the use of vehicles in the company fleet in detail. For each trip, it records relevant information such as vehicle, driver, start and end time, mileage, destination and comments. This data is used to track vehicle movements, support cost accounting and control as well as compliance with legal requirements. The logbook is closely linked to the master data of the vehicles and drivers and forms an important basis for fleet management and fleet analysis.
Search
This feature group contains search criteria for the logbook. It enables the user to find and filter specific journeys using various parameters such as date, driver or destination.| Property | Description |

| km Start of journey | This value shows the mileage of the vehicle at the start of a journey in the logbook. It serves as the starting point for calculating the distance traveled and is important for the accurate documentation and billing of business trips. |
| Destination | The destination indicates the destination of the journey. It is an important part of the logbook and is used for traceability and correct accounting of business trips as part of fleet management. |
| End of journey | This field shows the date and time at which a journey was completed in the logbook. It is used to document the exact duration of the journey and is important for correct billing and compliance with legal regulations in fleet management. |
| km Status end of trip | This value shows the vehicle's mileage at the end of the journey. It is used to record the distance traveled and is important for documentation in the logbook and for calculating fuel consumption and maintenance intervals. |
| Remark | In this free text field, you can enter important comments or additional information about a vehicle appointment in the logbook. These comments help to record relevant details and enable better traceability of appointment planning in fleet management. |
| Client | The logical client is visible at this point. This is always 01 as long as the client separation has not been activated. Please refer to the help. |
