Download PDF document for floor plan

From the BIM Explorer, you can download floor plans for individual floors. Any legends used are also included in the PDF document.

In addition, a plan header is created for the floor plan, containing detailed information about the building and the floor.

Procedure in the FM Portal

Path to the starting point: Portfolio (BIM) - BIM Explorer

Open the model for which you want to download a floor plan.
Select a floor plan.

Select white as the background color. The color will be carried over to the PDF document. To do this, first click on the "Miscellaneous" icon and then on the background color icon.

If necessary, select a representation (legend) to be included in the PDF document of the floor plan.

Tip: If a property management company is assigned to the building and a company logo is assigned to that company, the plan header will also include this company logo.

Click the download icon. A new tab will open.

Click the PDF icon in the Floor Plan section.

The floor plan has been created as a PDF document and downloaded. It includes the legend you selected in the BIM Explorer at the time of download. It also includes a plan header containing additional information about the building and the floor.

Tip: If a property management company is assigned to the building and a company logo is associated with that company, the plan header will also include that company logo.
