Certain events (such as an inspection or a tire change) must be recorded in the system, in part so that the fleet vehicle is not available for booking during that period. You can track these events under the Events menu item.
Note: However, you must still uncheck the "Bookable" box on the vehicle and recheck it after the event.
Tip: Alternatively, the vehicle can be booked via the vehicle booking feature for the duration of the event (e.g., inspection).
Procedure in the FM Portal
Path to the starting point: Infrastructure Building Management - Fleet Management - Events
Open the vehicle entry for which an event is to be created.
Select the vehicle for which an event is to be created.
Select the type of event.
Enter the date on which the event takes place.
You can optionally enter the mileage and a comment.
Note: Once the event is complete, check the "Completed" checkbox
The event has now been assigned to the vehicle.
