Rule | Description |
|---|---|
Room must be identified by a unique room number | This rule checks whether each component has a unique identifier (across the entire model, on each floor, or within the same room group). It also checks whether the identifiers are correct (if necessary). Specifically, all rooms (IfcSpace) are checked to ensure they have a unique number (property) (unique within the floor). |
Doors of the Doors category | This rule checks only components that are included in the filter in the "Components to be checked" table. The "Requirements" table lists the requirements for the components (such as minimum height or minimum width). Both tables can contain at least one filter. This rule can also be adapted for other objects. |
External doors connected to only one room | This rule is used to compare the values of two properties. All exterior doors (leading outside) are checked to ensure they have a single connection to a room and do not belong to multiple rooms (in their properties). |
InRoom and OutRoom relationships | This rule checks whether each door is assigned to the room it leads into and to an exit room |
Unique GUID | Checks for uniqueness of GUIDs within and across classes. |
Spatial Containment Relationship | Checks whether the model contains a building and floors, and whether components belong to floors (container hierarchy). |
Not modeled across levels | Checks whether the lower boundaries of all components with GUIDs are greater than or equal to the lower boundary of their story, or whether the upper boundaries of all components with GUIDs are less than or equal to the upper boundary of their story. |
Singularity of IfcProject, IfcSite, and IfcBuilding | Checks whether an IfcProject with a defined discipline (ARC, MEP, TWP, etc.) exists and whether an IfcSite and an IfcBuilding are assigned to this project. |
Unique property structure | Checks whether the correct property structure has been maintained:
