Procedure in the Portal
Lease areas are groups of rooms that can be assigned to a lease agreement as a whole. This eliminates the need to manually assign each individual room within a lease area. Additionally, it is possible to distribute non-rentable spaces among rentable spaces within the lease areas.
Path to the starting point: System Settings - Property Management - Leasing - Rental Areas
Create a new record in the table.
In the Extras section, click Add Rooms.... The Add Rooms to Rental Area form opens.
Click on the rooms you want to add to the rental area. This assigns the rooms to the rental area.
Repeat steps 2 through 3 until you have assigned all associated rooms to the rental area.
The rental area has been created. You can now assign it to a lease agreement.
