If you receive a letter from your bank stating that the security standard or the URL of the banking server is changing, you must update your organization’s EBICS credentials accordingly.

Prerequisite

  • You have admin rights in the FM Portal

  • You have updated the bank details under Property Management - Payment Transactions - Own Bank Accounts

Procedure in the FM Portal

Path to the starting point: System Settings - Property Management - Payment Transactions - EBICS Bank Accounts

  1. Open the desired bank account.

  2. Under EBICS Access Data, select the currently valid EBICS version.

  3. Click Save in the toolbar.

  4. Click Send EBICS Initialization Email in the menu bar.

  5. In response, you will receive an email from your bank. Click the link in the email.

  6. In the EBICS Admin area of the portal, reset your EBICS access and initialize it (using the initialization letter). To do this, follow the instructions in the EBICS Initialization Wizard.

You have completed the configuration.
