To create objects for an object type, you always need a matchcode. If you don’t want to go through the hassle of managing the matchcode or if you want to quickly create a matchcode that you can then customize further, you can create a default matchcode. Once created, this contains simple default object type data.
Note: This action checks for EVERY object type to see if a standard matchcode exists and creates one if none is available. The name is taken from the object type. A standard matchcode is used to assign objects to the appropriate locations when importing a BIM model if no matchcode is transferred from the BIM model.
Prerequisites
The object type already exists
No matchcodes have been assigned to the object type yet
Procedure in the FM Portal
