Cylinder groups consist of all locking cylinders of the same design. In addition, the cylinder group is linked to the key group, which contains all keys capable of unlocking every cylinder in the cylinder group.

Enter a code. This is a freely selectable abbreviation for the cylinder group.
Note: Since the code entered here appears in many lists and selection fields on the FM portal, it is advantageous to use a coding system for the cylinder group that is as informative as possible (i.e., not purely numerically sequential) (e.g., based on spatial groups, such as "Office 2nd Floor" for all offices on the 2nd floor).
Enter a description as well as the minimum quantity of active, usable cylinders you wish to maintain.
Note: This value is included in the "Overview of Minimum Cylinder Stock" report.
Select the locking type for the cylinder group.
Select the locking system to which the cylinder group is to be assigned.
Click Save in the toolbar.
You have created the cylinder group. Cylinders can now be assigned to it. Additionally, after saving, you can create cylinder records using the "Create Multiple Cylinders" button.
