A contract event is linked to a specific contract. This could be, for example, a contract change or the contract’s expiration. The contract management workflow then notifies the relevant parties of the event via email on the specified date.

The contract in question has already been created
Procedure in the FM Portal
Path to the starting point: Basic Data - Contract Management - Contract Events
Click New in the toolbar.
Select the contract affected by this event.
Enter a description for the event that is as clear as possible, e.g., "End of special right of termination."
Enter the date and time of the event.
In the Remind from field, enter the date from which the system should automatically remind you of the event.
Leave the Responsible Group field blank so that the group assigned to the contract type is notified. If a different group should be informed about the occurrence of the event, select it from the list.
Note: If the "Completed" field is checked, no further reminders will be sent.
Click Save.
The contract event has been created. It is now also displayed in the Contract Events section of the contract form.
