Building components are an optional hierarchical level for the Property Explorer or Property Cadastre. This level can be used, for example, to display building blocks such as extensions and existing buildings. This can make the hierarchical view there more clear.
All floors contained within the building component can also be created.
Prerequisite
You have permissions in the System Control Panel
Procedure in the FM Portal
Path to the starting point: System Control - Portfolio (BIM) - Property Cadastre - Additional Hierarchies - Floors - Building Components
Click New in the toolbar.
Select the building to which you want to add a building component.
Assign a code, number, and a description (e.g., "Old Building").
Click Save in the toolbar.
If you want to add floors, click New in the Floors section.
Click Save in the toolbar.
You have created the building component.
