Countries

This form is used to create and edit data records for countries. The countries entered are used in many places in the FM portal (e.g. when assigning locations to countries). This catalog is provided during installation.

Identification

In this section, data for the identification of the country can be entered. This information will be used to identify it across the entire FM-Portal.

Property	Description
Country Code	Enter the country code according to ISO (e.g., "GE" for "Germany").
Country Name	Enter the full country name (e.g., "Germany").
Country name (official full form)	Enter the country name in the official full form, e.g. "the Federal Republic of Germany"
Country code according to ISO 3166-1 (2 digits)	Country code according to ISO 3166-2
Destatis BEV code	This refers to the codes for states or nationalities and for dependent territories provided by the Federal Statistical Office for use in population statistics. These codes must not be confused with those used by the Federal Statistical Office for other purposes, e.g. foreign trade, with reference to states and territories.
