To make it easier to set up utility cost billing, you can copy utility cost types from one location or building to another location or building.
Only operating cost types that have not yet been manually configured in the building will be added.
The building or location to which the cost types are to be copied already exists
Path to the starting point: Control Panel - Property Management - Operating Cost Settlement - OC Settlement Profiles - Configuration Manager
Select the Buildings: Cost Types tab.
To transfer a building’s operating cost types, use Location Source and Building Source to select the building whose operating cost types you want to transfer. Additional buildings at that location will be listed.
Select one or more of the buildings to which the cost types should be assigned.
Click Apply/Update.
The operating cost types from the selected building are copied to the selected buildings.
Tip: To copy cost types from one location to another, follow the same steps in the Locations: Cost Types tab.
