Once the rooms have been connected, the meeting room setup is complete.
Procedure in the FM Portal
Path to the starting point: Infrastructure Building Management - Room Reservation - Meeting Rooms
Open the record for the meeting room that is to be bookable via both the FM Portal and Exchange.
In the "Connection to Room in Exchange Server" section, click "Change Exchange User." A pop-up window will appear.
Enter the username and password of the room representative and click Save.
In the same information area, click Change Exchange Room. Another pop-up window will appear.
Select the room list and the Exchange room to which the eTASK room should be connected, and click Save.
In the Exchange Reservations Settings information area, select the Booking in Exchange Server enabled checkbox and select the default requester and default cost center.
Click Save in the taskbar.
In the "Connect to Room in Exchange Server" pane, click "Synchronize with Exchange."
Use eTASK.IdentityChecker to verify that the room is accessible. When you run eTASK.IdentityChecker, the room is displayed.
The room can now be booked via the Outlook add-in, the FM portal, and mobile apps.
Note: Once you have established the initial connection, you should verify whether a booking made in the FM Portal (e.g., via Quick Booking) is transferred to the room’s calendar and whether a booking made in Exchange (without the add-in) is transferred to the FM Portal (e.g., via the booking overview). To verify the second case, first manually run the "ReExSynchronizeRooms" timer job.
