There are two ways to change a user's password. The user can change it themselves when logging in. An administrator can also change the password at any time upon request.
Procedure in the FM Portal
(User changes the password themselves)
In your user profile, click Change Password in the top-right corner of the system bar.
Note: Depending on settings configured by your FM Portal administration, you may not be able to change your password using this option. In this case, contact your FM Portal administration.
Enter your old password and the new password twice.
Click Change Password.
Note: If Active Directory login has been configured for your FM Portal (login using your Windows password), this will only change your FM Portal password, not your Active Directory password.
The password has been changed.
Procedure in the FM Portal
(Administrator changes the password for a user)
Prerequisite
You are a member of a rights group labeled "Administrators Group"

Open the record for the user whose password you want to change.
In the FM Portal Access Data section, click Change Password. A pop-up window opens.
Enter the new password in the Password field and repeat it in the Repeat Password field.
Click OK.
The password has been changed.
