Objects of a specific object type can be automatically identified based on the individual attribute values of a matchcode and assigned to that matchcode.
The assignment is performed in the matchcode using the function Extras - Find Objects by Characteristics & Assign Matchcode.
If the attribute values of the objects match those of the matchcode, the objects are automatically assigned to the matchcode. This allows large imported data sets to be structured.
If new documents are uploaded to the matchcode after executing this function, they are automatically inherited by all objects assigned to the matchcode.
Note: To link documents, they must be inheritable. To do this, check whether the "Inheritable" option is enabled in the data for a document. This is the default setting.
