Assign the rooms that are being rented during a specific period to that time frame in order to determine the rent amount and document the lease agreement.
The lease agreement and time period already exist
The rooms to be assigned are already entered in the system
The "Available for Rent" checkbox must be selected in the records for the rooms you want to assign
Path to the starting point: Property Management - Leasing - Lease Agreements
Open the lease agreement to which you want to add rooms.
Open the time period to which you want to add rooms.
In the toolbar, click Add Rooms to Period under Tools.
Select the building in which the rooms to be assigned are located. If necessary, you can also select the rental area. If you want to view the rented rooms of a building, check the Rented Rooms checkbox.
Select the rooms to be assigned to the period.
In the "Operating Cost Advance Payments" section, select one of the following options:
Transfer from the period: Transfers the operating cost factor from the period to the selected rooms
Transfer from the building ledger: Transfers the operating cost factor for the selected rooms from the building in which the room is located
None: Do not transfer operating cost information
Optional: Enter a base rent factor for the selected rooms or the total base rent for the selected rooms.
Click "Apply Rooms."
The rooms are listed in the Rooms section for the period. The rent costs are displayed in the period and lease agreement, totaled with the other rent costs.
