Access to the Property Explorer and the objects it contains can be controlled in the eTASK.FM portal by assigning permissions. This ensures that users only have access to the Explorers for which they are responsible.
Note: Permissions can only be granted if there is at least one building on the property.
Note: When you add new properties to your system, permissions are not automatically assigned to these properties. You must therefore assign permissions to new properties manually.
Prerequisite
The properties already exist in the system.
Procedure in the FM Portal
Path to the starting point: System Settings - Portal Options - Rights Management - Groups and Rights
Open the rights group to which you want to assign rights to properties.
In the "Rights to Property/Object Explorer" section, select a property to which you want to grant access to the rights group. To do this, check the box next to the desired entry.

Note: This will also select all buildings below it. If you do not want the rights group to have access to all buildings, you can remove the building from the rights assignment by clicking the green checkmark in front of the building entry.
Click Save in the toolbar.
Note: If you want to grant all users access to all buildings and objects, assign all buildings to the default group.
Users in the group now have access to the buildings in the Property Explorer and the corresponding objects in the Object Explorer.
