Tire set
The tire set includes the essential characteristics of a tire, such as size, type and manufacturer. It provides an overview of the most important features required to identify and categorize a specific tire model.

| Maximum mileage | Manufacturer information on the maximum mileage of these tyres. |
| TIN | Tire Identification Number, which is visible on the tire. |
| Production date | Manufacturer's information on the production date of the tyre. Often found on the invoice or delivery note. |
| Code | Short code, which describes the set of tires as good as possible, e.g.: DUN-WIN-18i for Dunlip Winter tires of size 18 inches. |
| Manufacturer | Company, that manufactured this set of tires. |
| Tire type | For which season/ground coverings are the tyres suitable? E.g. Summer tires, Winter tires, All-weather-tires |
| Number | Number of tyres making up the set. Often four for cars, but may vary depending on the vehicle. |
Size
This group includes characteristics relating to the physical size and dimensions of a tire. This includes details such as diameter, width and tread height, which are crucial for the fit and performance of the tire.

Vehicle / Storage location
This group includes characteristics about the current location and condition of the tire, including information about the vehicle on which it is mounted or the storage location if it is not in use.
