BcfTopic

Management of BCF topics for structured documentation and communication about problems, change requests or notes on the BIM model. A BCF topic represents a specific issue or task directly on the 3D model and is assigned to a BCF project or building. Topics can be structured hierarchically and contain comments, viewpoints (3D views) and status information. In facility management, BCF topics are also used to document reports, defects or maintenance information from building operations.

Indentification

Unique identification features of the BCF topic for system-wide and BCF-standard-compliant referencing.

Property	Description
Topic GUID	The GUID of the topic in accordance with the BCF standard for unique identification across system boundaries. This is generated automatically when the BCF topic is created or transferred during import from external BCF-capable systems.
