Identification
In this section, data for the identification of the unit can be entered. This information will be used to identify it across the entire FM-Portal.

| Dimension | Specifies the defined quantity for the respective unit of measurement. |
| Internal ID (Data ID) | The internal ID or data ID is used within the application to uniquely identify the data record |
Conversion
This group contains features for converting between different units of measurement. It enables the precise conversion of quantities and sizes between different unit systems.

IFC Units
This group contains characteristics for the specification of units of measurement in accordance with the IFC standard. It is used for the standardized definition and use of units of measure in building information models.

| Si Offset | The offset to the SI base unit is expressed here. |
| Si Conversion Factor | The conversion factor based on the base unit is stored here |
| Formula | The formula for the unit of measurement is shown here |
| LaTex notation | The mathematical description of the unit of measurement is stored here as LaTex notation. |
| AsciiMath notation | Here you can enter the mathematical description of the unit of measurement in relation to the measurement as an ASCII formula |
| Javascript Formula | Here you can find the JavaScript formula for the unit of measurement |
| Dimension | The dimension of the unit of measurement according to the SI standard is displayed here. |
