Procurement types

Master data table for categorizing the procurement types for IT equipment and assets (e.g. purchase, lease, rental, donation). This classification is important for asset accounting, contract management and cost allocation. The procurement type determines the further treatment of the asset in its life cycle and influences accounting and tax aspects.

Identification

Basic identification features of the procurement type, consisting of internal ID, code (abbreviation) and complete designation for clear classification of the procurement form.

Property	Description
Code	Enter a freely selectable abbreviation for the procurement type here (e.g. "K" for "purchase", "LS" for "leasing", "M" for "rental"). The code enables a compact presentation in lists and evaluations.
Designation	Enter the full name of the procurement type here (e.g. "Purchase", "Leasing", "Rental", "Donation"). This designation is displayed in all forms and reports.
Internal ID (Data ID)	Unique internal ID for system-internal identification of the data record. This field is automatically assigned by the system and is used for technical assignment.
