This form is used to create data records for equipment that is used to carry out maintenance. The equipment should not be confused with the objects that can be found and managed in the menu under "Objects".
Identification
Information on the data record’s identification is entered in this section.

| Required Qualification | Select the qualification required to operate the tool. |
| Code | Enter an abbreviation for the equipment or tool. |
| Name | Enter a complete description for the equipment or tool. (e.g. "hammer drill min. 1000 Watt"). |
Billing
Information about emerging equipment costs can be entered here.

| Currency Unit | Select the currency unit for the usage fee. |
| Future Hourly Rate | Enter the current hourly rate for using the present equipment or tool. To start with, this amount does not depend on a currency. The associated currency is then selected in the "Currency unit" selection field. |
| Future Hourly Rate Valid from | Select the date from which the new hourly rate is valid. Alternatively the date can be manually entered in dd.mm.yyyy format. |
| Hourly Rate | Enter the amount due per hour. To start with, this amount does not depend on a currency. The associated currency is then selected in the "Currency unit" combobox. |
| Currency Unit | Select the currency unit for the new hourly rate. |
