Keep FM Portal users up to date on the latest news from your FM department. The information you enter here will be sent as a message to individuals with a room assignment within the scope of validity on the publication date. The message and a masked hyperlink are used for this purpose. The hyperlink is appended to the end of the message. Depending on the browser settings, the link opens a new tab or a new window. The messages are triggered by the timer job “Generate Messages from My News.” This job must be enabled and should be scheduled to run at an appropriate time. Each message is sent only once and is then marked as “completed.”

The contents of the report can be configured in this section.| Property | Description |
| Headline | Choose a catchy headline for your news item. It won't be included in the message, but it will make it easier for you to identify the item later. |
| Status | After the news has been sent, the status “completed” is entered here. |
| Description | Enter the notification's text. |
| Link | You can add a hyperlink to your message, which will appear as "Link" at the end of the delivered message. Depending on your browser settings, the link may open in a new tab or window. Make sure the link is trustworthy, and always use full URLs that start with “https://.” |
