Room match codes (room types with values)

In this form you define a room matchcode. A room matchcode is a template for planning rooms with the same function. The room matcode is also a subdivision of a room type. For example, a room type "Living and stay" can be assigned the room matchcodes "Kitchen", "Living room", "Bedroom", etc. Information such as type of use according to DIN 277-2, the planned area, number of occupants, room type, etc. is defined in a room matcode. Value assignments entered in the room matcode apply to all planned rooms. When transferring the planned rooms with a room matchcode, value assignments are also transferred to the existing building.

In this info area you will find information that can be used to identify the data record. This is usually the code and the name, together with other important information.

room type	Assign a room type to the room matchcode. The room matchcode is subordinate to the room type. This allows planned rooms with certain functions to be grouped into a room type. For example, the room matchcodes "1.1|Tea kitchen", "1.2|Bathroom" and "1.3|Bedroom" etc.
Code	Enter a code for the room in requirements planning here. The code can be a consecutive numbering, for example.
Designation	Enter the name for the room in the requirements planning here, e.g. office space for marketing &

Utilization according to DIN 277-2

This feature group classifies rooms according to their type of use in accordance with DIN 277-2. It enables a standardized classification and description of room functions in buildings.

Property	Description
Type of use (DIN 277-2)	Select the usage type according to DIN 277-2 for the room match code here. The generated rooms from the requirements planning are assigned the selected usage type. The value is adopted when transferring to the inventory.
Internal type of use (requirements planning)	Here you can select the internal usage type for the room matchcode. The internal usage type applies to all planned rooms with the same matchcode. The value is adopted when transferring to the inventory.

Costs

This group includes various cost aspects associated with the use and furnishing of space. These may include rental costs, operating costs or special equipment costs for certain types of space.

standard costs	The standard costs are calculated from the price per m² stored in the room type and the area (DIN 277-2) for this room match code.

Area and occupancy

This group includes features for describing the spatial dimensions and use of a room. This includes information on the floor area and the current and planned occupancy of the room.

Property	Description
Area (DIN 277-2)	Enter the floor area for the room match code here. The planned rooms with the respective room match code are assigned the floor area. The value is adopted when transferring to the inventory.
Number of occupancy	Enter the number of people occupying the planned rooms with the same matchcode here
room type	Select a room type here that applies to the room matcode.
