G/L account classes

You can use G/L account classes to structure the content of your G/L accounts. Settings made here have no effect on the calculations of the assigned amounts (except by assigning them to a G/L account class category).

G/L account class

G/L account classes categorize G/L accounts according to their business function. They enable a structured organization of the chart of accounts and support the evaluation and analysis of financial accounting.

Property	Description
Code	Enter a unique code.
Designation	Enter the name.
Type	Selection of the G/L account class type.
Internal ID (Data ID)	The internal ID, or data ID, is used within the application to uniquely identify the data record.
