Specify here which IP addresses and IP ranges may access which short URLs. This allows you to control access to shortened URLs in a targeted and secure manner - for external partners, service providers or site-specific access, for example. IP-based access control supplements the assignment of rights via system users and increases security when using short URLs without logging in.
Identification
Assign short URLs to the authorized IP addresses or IP ranges. Each combination defines which IP addresses are allowed to access which short URL.| Property | Description |
| Short URL | Select the short URL for which you want to define IP-based access authorization. Once assigned, this short URL can only be accessed by the authorized IP addresses or IP ranges. |
| IP addresses and ranges | Select the IP address or IP range that is authorized to access the selected short URL. You can authorize individual IP addresses (e.g. for certain servers) or entire IP ranges (e.g. for locations or external partners). The available IP addresses and ranges are managed in the IP addresses table. |
| Internal ID (Data ID) | Unique internal ID for this data record. Is automatically assigned by the system and is used for technical identification. |
