Arrange data records in a table in ascending order

You can sort the records in a table alphabetically in ascending or descending order by any column.

  1. Ascending alphabetical order: Click once on the column header.

  2. Alphabetical descending: Click on the column header again.

  3. Or move the mouse pointer over the column, click the triangle, and then click the desired sort order.

Note: Changes you make to the order of a table are not saved. When you open the table next time, the changes will no longer be there. However, the new order will be used when exporting the records to Excel. If you want to keep the order, you can create a custom view. This will be saved and will be available the next time you open the table. See:
