Adding allocation keys to rooms

You can use the Configuration Manager to assign a predefined allocation key to selected rooms.

Prerequisites:

  • Room records exist

  • A predefined allocation key is available

Procedure in the FM Portal

Path to the starting point: Control Panel - Property Management - Operating Cost Settlement - Configuration of Operating Cost Settlement Profiles - Configuration Manager

  1. Select the Add Allocation Key tab.

  2. Select the building for which you want to add the allocation key.

  3. Select the allocation key you want to add.

  4. Click Load Rooms. The rooms are displayed grouped by usage type. Use the green arrows to open and close all levels. Only the rooms that do not yet have the selected allocation key are displayed.

  5. Select the rooms to which you want to add the selected allocation key.

  6. Click Add Allocation Key and confirm the prompt.

  7. Repeat steps 2–6 to add additional allocation keys.

The allocation keys are added to the selected rooms.
