Linking Polygons

Two overlapping speech bubbles, one orange and one blue, representing communication or conversation in software interface Using the Update Areas and Labels function, you can update the labels for the selected room.

Instructions: Manually linking floor polygons
First, check the drawing settings
Icon of a blueprint or technical drawing with blue lines on a gray background, labeled "Zeichnung" in German
whether the link layer of the floor level matches the layer on which your floor polygon is located, and whether the floor polygon corresponds to the set AutoCAD object type (polyline, region, or Architecture).
If you haven’t already, open the Room Book palette and navigate to the newly created floor that you want to link.
Now select the previously set label "Base" from the drop-down menu.

Next, use the Orange circular arrow icon forming a loop, representing a refresh or reload actionLink button in the Room Book palette, and click on the floor polygon on the floor layer using the selection tool.
Now place the "Base" label, and draw the leader line if desired. The leader line can be canceled with ESC or ENTER.

Alternatively, if no floor polygon exists in the drawing yet, you can create a new polyline using the Colorful brain icon with gear inside on dark background. Text "eTASK" below in white letters.Draw and Link Polygon function. Placing the label works in the same way. The building structure node is now represented by a c symbol, which indicates the link. No plan is displayed in eTASK yet. This requires SVG publication.
